It is important data that records the process of people’sunderstanding of the world and transformation of the world civilization. Study of archivesinformation security has become a hot academic discussion. Safety protection of archivesinformation not only involves protecting the carrier’s safety, but also ensuring information’soriginality, confidentiality, availability and controllability, which makes archives better guidepractice activities about human’s understanding of the world and changing of the world.The traditional archives information security work is based in analysis and research ofarchives information lost and damaged event. It mainly relies on the experience to ensure thefile information security. Since the modern science and technology was widely usedin archives, archives information faces diversified threat and situation, once harm occurs, itwill bring heavy loss. More is needed from traditional experience turning to foreseeing. It isnecessary to set up the effective countermeasures that guides practice protection work ofarchives information security; scientific theoretical system also needs to be established toprotect the archives information security, providing a theoretical basis for better utilizationof technology.Firstly, the thesis makes a brief introduction of the concept of archives informationsecurity, elements and characteristics; secondly, the thesis makes a comprehensive summaryof the main science and technology applied in the archives information security work, and asfar as possible analyzes the application of the science and technology, and then summarizesthe available safety hazard caused by the technology application and its environment. Thenatural, social, human factors that hidden safety problems. At the same time, it exists inthe application of technology and archival work. Technology itself has defects andshortcoming; updating technology leads to the incompatibility of new and old technology; thedevelopers and users have conflict of interest; all these factors will bring securityrisks. Then, this thesis tries to put forward the countermeasure: the technical and safetyarchives information security, environmental security, management, security and legalguarantee summarize the security system of archive information. Finally, from the angle ofphilosophy, the paper gives the theoretical basis of these hidden danger and countermeasureswhich caused by the application of science and technology in the archives information security. This paper only from the four angles: two sides of technology application, thearchives information security technology life cycle theory, the difference between thearchives information security technology and security technology, and archives informationsecurity paradigm’s commensurability, to analyze archives information’s security. These arestill insufficient; I hope that the relevant scholars can study together.
