RSSP-Ⅱ is used to guarantee the safety communication between the train and the wayside equipments in CTCS-3. However, with the development of communication technology, cryptology technology and the super-fast computer, RSSP-Ⅱ will unable to meet the demand of high reliability and high security in the railway signal system. Therefore, it is inevitable to improve and optimize the RSSP-Ⅱ. Design the simulation testing platform for RSSP-Ⅱ can not only realize the verification of the protocol, but also provide the platform for research and improvement of the protocol.Simulation testing platform for RSSP-Ⅱ was constructed, and the communication protocol of RSSP-Ⅱ was simulated by combining with train control simulation test platform in this thesis. The simulation process and results of RSSP-Ⅱ protocol can be showed directly, which are meaningful for the study on PSSR-Ⅱ.Firstly, the RSSP-Ⅱ was analyzed in this thesis, including structure, key technology and operational principle of the protocol. The process of safety protection, and related algorithm used in the protocol were analyzed as well.Then, considering with actual requirement, the overall structure of simulation test platform and function structure of each subsystem was designed, based on the RSSP-Ⅱ safety communication protocol. The content and format of the protocol were designed in order to make sure the interconnection of the subsystems of the platform. The database table was designed as well for achieving unified management of the platform data.Finally, the subsystem for safety communication was designed in detail. Base on VC++6.0development platform, main function of the subsystems were achieved by using Winsock2SPI technology.The simulation results show that, the simulation platform designed in this thesis can not only realize the simulation of RSSP-Ⅱ, but also has the capability of protocol analysis and testing.
