Reasearch And Design Of Instant P2P Voice Commuication System Based On Wi-Fi Hotspot

Internet gradually evolves from a public gateway to individual clients in the development process. Among many increasingly competitive internet clients, instant communication client is commonly recognized by most users, which will eventually become a hot field of research and development in the internet industry because of fanatical passion from users and the pitch from commercial internet industry.Nowadays, with the popularity of Android smartphones and the acceleration of the transfer rate of mobile networks, the instant communication software in the domestic are perfered by users. However, the instant communication software now have a general character, that is to work normally only under the conditions of the server to provide services. When there may not be covered by the communication network in some remote areas, and especially the communication network may be destroyed in the case of sudden natural disaster, how people use smartphones to rapidly form regional communication networks under the conditions that rely solely on mobile terminals to communicate without having to services for the communications server is becoming one of the hot research.This article mainly is based on the discussion and analysis about WiFi, Android and other related technologies to achieve the creation, search, connections of WiFi hotpots, and the equipment networking. Meanwhile, the instant P2P voice communications was obtained by using Andriod phones to gain the voice collection, transmission and broadcast under multi-thread management. The multi-point voice communication will come true on this basis. The main work was done as follows:a. Networking equipment. The creation, search and connect of WiFi hotspot were achieved under Android development platform, and the transmission network channel for the next voice communications was provided.b. The realization of instant voice communication. The voice collection, transmission and playback were achieved, and the transmission of collected analog signal was sent by a way that converted into it to PCM data stream and received under the UDP protocol.c. Multithreading management. The voice capture and transmission, the voice reception and playing were managed through a separate thread to ensure the real-time of voice communication, so that the voice of collection, transmission, playback could be orderly conducted.d. Multipoint connected. In the creation of a WiFi hotspot conditions, it is realized that a plurality of mobile terminal are connected with it based on instant P2P voice communication. In order to complete multi-point short distance instant voice communication, a one to many network should be set up.
