The batteries of electric cars should be monitored strictly when they work in normal. However, the number of the car batteries is very great. The traditional way of wired connections measure battery voltage will make the wiring complex, and it will make the error correction and maintenance system more difficult.For this problem, the essay designs a wireless system to monitor battery voltage. The voltage data which is collected by the wireless sensor module is transferred to the wireless sensor module of the control center in a certain range. The processer of the control center may display the voltage vale living. Dealing with the acquisition voltage and doing the reverse controlling battery, it makes battery charge and discharge in normal.The paper firstly introduces the research status of ZigBee technology and wireless sensor networks. By a comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of several wireless sensor networks, the paper sums up the advantages of ZigBee technology. These advantages determine that the ZigBee technology is very suitable for the monitoring system. Next, paper makes a comprehensive introduction about ZigBee protocol standards, the network topology and the corresponding software of the node network configuration.Secondly, it introduces the system design of the hardware and the software. In the aspect of hardware, it introduces wireless sensor module, the battery pack voltage acquisition chip, single-chip system architecture. And then, the paper discusses the system software design. It contains two parts. One is the single-chip controlling the battery pack voltage acquisition chip, and the other one is processer of the control center dealing with data. The control center has some functions, such as data collection, display values, data processing and other computing functions. If it connects with a GSM module, the system can achieve remote monitoring.Finally, the system has some disadvantages, and the paper makes a conclusion. The system can solve the problem of cars batteries through debugging. The system design is reasonably practicable, and it achieves the desired goal.
