With the rapid development of mobile Internet, People should pay more attention to the practicality and maneuverability for the mobile terminal.Nowadays, what troubles us most are dining and traffic problems which emerge in heavy traffic, difficulties for dinning in rush hours and long waiting time for ordering. In this rapid development of digital era and popularity of mobile devices, the traditional catering industry is faced with opportunity as well as challenge. In this paper, I will use the Android platform, combine with LBS technology and Implement the mobile reservation system based on LBS.This paper firstly studies the key technology used in system development and focused on the Android mobile phone operating system, LBS system architecture and baidu map API. On the basis of requirement analysis and general design goal, it defines the overall architecture of the system and the overall design process. Then it introduces the function of the system module design and implementation and Implements the Web side and the Android client functions respectively. In the Web management side, it completes the dishes searching, collection of dishes, dishes uploading and restaurants navigation. The Android client implementation achieves ordering a meal, checking station, turning tables, and combining tables, placing the orders and the surrounding search function. Finally, in the simulator and Tiny210development board it completes a test corresponding to the reservation system functional modules. And the test results are analyzed and summarized.The location-based mobile reservation system designed in this paper can efficiently complete the ordering, placing the orders, and the surrounding search function,which are convenient for users to complete the ordering service. Because the system is developed on the Android platform, it has a huge amount of Android mobile phone users, friendly interface, simple operation. Meanwhile, Web server based on B/S structure, the webmaster shave access to the Web management side via a Web browser. Which has good scalability, maintainability and portability.
