At present,the development status and service level of urban public transport systems have become an important standard for measuring the level of urban economic development.As the main travel choice of most urban residents,it plays an important role:in the promotion of the city's image.With the development of information technology,people have higher and higher requirements for the inquiring of traffic information.The traditional public transportation inquiring service can no longer satisfy people's need for real-time and accurate information query of public transport systems.Based on the current status of public transportation system development in Xi'an City,this thesis designs a public transportation inquiries system based on Android mobile phones,aiming to improve the current public transport inquiries and provide users with more convenient,accurate and detailed public transport inquiries.This thesis has mainly done the following research:(1)Introduced the development status of domestic and foreign public transport inquiring systems,summarized the problems and deficiencies of current public transport inquiring systems,and then analyzed the feasibility of public transport inquiring systems.(2)Analyzed the system's functional requirements,non-functional requirements and security requirements in detail basing on the UML use case diagram and activity diagram.(3)Developed the overall design of the system from the aspects of system structure,function flow design,database design,etc.The target system is divided into three parts:the simulation server,the mobile client.and the simulated vehicle.The query of public transportation information based on the Android mobile phone is realized,and the characteristic function of querying the nearest station of the airival bus and the congestion information of each site on the line is designed.(4)Tested the system.The test result proves that the system has a friendly interface and complete func.tions,has a high use value,and has a huge potential user group and a wider application prospect.The system is characterized by the combination of people,cars,and roads.It uses traffic conditions to reflect traffic conditions and then publishes information to mobile phone clients through the server.With this system,users can not only inquire bus line information,but also real-time traffic status information on the line as well as the number of stations from the nearest arriving.This system can also be used as a prototype of a traffic inquiry network.If it is further developed,it may form a huge traffic information network,which is of great significance for intelligent transportation and improving the level of public transport management.
