Guyuan, as a historical city, has been thouands of years. The unique location makes its replacement of the ancient regime, economic development and cultural prosperity. Consequently there have been produced a lot of rich local literatue resources in the development of the various historical stages. Assuredly it has been established the profound historical and cultural heritage of Guyuan. The local literatue of Guyuan is the historical materials and the real materials that record or description the natural phenomenon and social phenomenon about Guyuan on the all material carrier. From the time, it includes historical materials (the classical literature) and the real materials (morden and contemporary). From the content, it does a comprehensive record on the hisrory and present situation of natural, social and the humanities of Guyuan. This atticle aims to be a comprehensive and systematic show of the local literature on the aspects of history, geography and cultural of Guyuan, and use the contents solving way. Firstly in the introduction it introduces the Guyuan city and the basic overview of its local literature probably, and then has an introduction of the academic research status. This article’s subject can be divided into four parts. The first part is the chronicles summary of Guyuan, and has a summary introduction of old chronicles and new chronicles (be limited to the total chronicles) from Guyuan respectively. The second part is the unearthed documents summary of Guyuan, and has a summary introduction of the literature from Warring States Period to the Republic of China. And then list the directory of the unearthed documents that recorded in the old chronicles. The third part is the writings of local historical figures sumarry of Guyuan, and it includes the people that have the local hometown in Guyuan, and the people have foreign origin that but have written a book about Guyuan. And then list the directory of the article that writtend by ancient writers of Guyuan. The forth part is the finishing and research works of contemporary sumarry of Guyuan, and in this part we consider the finishing and research works of contemporary that has been used the historical geography and cultural of Guyuan as the main object. And then has a sumarry introuduciton of the contemporary fishing and research work on historical development, the historical cultural relics, historical figures, geography and culture of history, literature and history compilation of data, old volunteer organize of Guyuan. At the end of the article, it has appendix a paper index that has been researched the history, geography and culture of Guyuan in recent decades.
