After joining WTO, the finished oil market of our country was opening to the foreign petrol companies. In order to win the competition, domestic oil companies would have to face the problem of how to obtain the feed, sale and storage information of finished oil systematically, in time, accurately and comprehensively. In addition, the way of reducing unnecessary duplication of effort, improving management efficiency, and decreasing operating costs of running systems must be taken into consideration. Information management of gas station retail business plays a very important role in the management of service station. Collecting the information of oil tanks and grasping the real time messages of oil guns are important means of getting the feed, sale and storage information of finished oil in gas station.At present, the monitoring instruments and information management systems used in service stations can not meet the requirement of domestic oil companies in the management of readymade oil selling. There mainly exist five problems. Firstly, single function, which means that the instrument can only monitor one or two parameters. Another problem relate to the adaptability of the instrument, which can not meet the requirement of variable environment. Additionally, it can not share information with other instruments or systems, which can’t meet the distribute management of modern company. What’s worse, the weaknesses of slowly running, low precision and high price result in a limited extent of small scale. Last but not least, poor levels of automation, low efficiency and high cost also need to be addressed urgently. Relay on the intensive studies of embedded system software development based on S3C2440, this paper provides a method of using embedded systems in the field of gas station information monitoring. Taking the demands of information management of modern gas stations, this paper proposes and implements an embedded software platform for finished oil retail to collect, store, monitor and manage the information of gas station. The research in this paper has the following characteristics:This paper proposes a LASP based software platform, a platform that is not only suitable for embedded software development, but also can effectively reduce the time of learning how to do embedded developing. In addition, the real-time performance of the platform was improved by adapting memcached memory database.By designing a dynamically extensible and auto acquisition interface, we can not only collect real-time information of oil tanks and oil machines in an oil station, but also can provide effective support for the diversity of equipments.By using the virtual serial port based on Linux pseudo terminal technology, we can change the current communication pattern between the control system and oil machines, which greatly simplify the procedure of project, reduce the maintenance costs and improve operational stability.Using P2P technology of VPN, we can realize network access between the monitoring center and monitory point through NAT penetration.On the basis of this embedded platform, a comprehensive data acquisition system has been developed and used in gas stations, which greatly verifies the validity and promotional value of this study.
