The Research And Design Of SDN Control Architecture And Application Development

With the increase of users, the popularity of the Internet, changes of users’ requirements and the increasingly complex of business, the traditional network architecture increasingly unable to meet the requirements of users and business. The research organizations and individuals in the world have launched the research of the new network architecture, the SDN emerged. SDN separate the control plane and the data plane of the devices to implements the flexible control of the network traffic and provides a good platform to core network and the innovation of application. In this paper, with the related research of SDN, we present the concepts of application integrated development environment and Affinity Atomic Service.This article first introduces the research status of the new network architecture and SDN, and then clearly introduces the architecture and controller of the SDN industry organization OpenDaylight. On this basis, we present the concepts of SDN application integrated development environment and Affinity Atomic Service, and study and design the two concepts. SDN application integrated development environment provides a software environment to developers; make it more easily to develop applications for developers. We design the core simulation layer for SDN integrated development environment, it’s the core of whole integrated development environment, provides the virtualization simulation environment for SDN applications. The core simulation layer is subdivided into three parts:the simulation engine, simulation layer and the user code layer. Affinity Atomic Service provides the support to the application integrated development environment, and provides basic resources such as compute, storage, network to the development of applications.With the SDN application integrated development environment and Affinity Atomic Service, developers can develop and test their applications more easily, there will be more developers join into the research of SDN, promote the research of SDN.
