Body Sensor Networks (Body Area Networks) is a specific implementation of wirelesssensor networks. It works by deploying or embedding the sensors on the surface or in body. Itcollects physiological data in real time and sends the collected physiological data to thespooler, which operates the data by human or pathological analysis system to evaluate humanhealth. In fact, as a public application network body sensor networks not only plays animportant role in the medical field, but also in other areas, this article will give someintroduction.Essentially, BSN is a WSNs. So it also has some basic characteristics in WSNs. The mostimportant feature is wireless communications. Traditional information transmission mediumof WSNs is radio waves, which has low latency, high speed, strong anti-interference,propagation characteristics suitable for long distance communication. These features ensurethat the radio waves have a better communication quality, but a negative feature of radiowhich cannot be ignored is electromagnetic radiation. Currently, the environmental pollutionproblems caused by the radio waves are increasingly concerned. As the need for prolongedcontact with the human body BSN, using radio communication approach will inevitably causeincalculable damage to the human body. Researchers from the whole world are also lookingfor some other wireless communication medium instead of radio. Ultrasound is a widelystudied, alternative wireless communication media, as a new type media, so far has not beenfound its negative effects.(In fact, the ultrasonic oscillation little frequency is very good forhumans).Based on the above background and the article needs to project a body area networkapplications, as the proposed ultrasonic communication medium BSN communication model(USN). The focus of this paper is the link layer protocol and network layer data fusion. Weproposed an improvement both in mac layer and net layer. The main work is completed arethe following:1. For a BSN consists of all direction transition nodes, we proposed a power controlproposed to improve the performance of the link protocol link layer ultrasonic BSN; 2. For the ultrasonic transmitting node consists of a single directional BSN, proposed amulti-hop link-layer protocol development and cooperative work by way of a node;3, we propose a suitable USN data fusion method NNDAA. The algorithm uses SOFMneural network node to the data collected for USN temporal classification, in order to achievethe integration of data, reducing the amount of data transmission purposes.Since the study ultrasonic transmission medium BSN is also part of the initial stage ofthis paper is only the two of them have done a specific depth. For a complete working modelUSN, but also the need for more researchers to make more effort.
