Seaborne international trade is an important mode in the current transport, which has aadvantage of low transport costs, high reliability, mature technology. In the shipping transportsystem, pier is an important infrastructure provides the function of transit stations anddistribution center for ship and container, and playing an important role in the development ofnational maritime.Jinjiang Wei Tou Port container wharf pier is an important port of China’s southeastcoastal areas, and undertakes a number of international and domestic routes and transit cargohandling operations. In recent years, with the increasing terminal throughput, the original jobmanagement information system has been unable to meet current business needs, and emergethe problem of operational efficiency low error rate, job management rigid, too strongcoupling of hardware and software problems. In order to solve the above problems,Quanzhou maritime sector to design and develop a smart gate system Wei Tou Port in theabove context.The design and implementation of intelligent work of Wei Tou Port Container Terminalgate is studied in this thesis. Firstly, the system needs analysis is introduced form the point ofproject development background, business links, functional and non-functional requirements,etc.Secondly, the modular design of the system as a whole functions and function modulesdesign framework is analysis. The system is divided into a hardware device managementmodule, job management module, job monitoring module and an information processingmodule, and the detailed design of each of the analysis modules is studied. And then, theback-end database system design work is introduced, including E-R diagram design anddetailed design data table structure.Finally, in accordance with the design of the system function module introduces andanalyzes the work of achieving the various functional modules, then the system installationand application deployment method effect after system implementation is also introduced inthis thesis.In the functional development of the system mainly uses.NET platform which providesthe P/Invoke technology to achieve functional interactive system with third-party hardware devices, and provides a unified system-level information processing and informationmanagement functions call interface.The development work of Wei Tou Port Container Terminal intelligent gate system hasalready completed, and the application has been implemented in Wei Tou port. From theapplication point of view, the system has been basically completed the intended target andachieved relatively good results, and has a positive role in promoting the gate operationswork efficiency.
