The topic of this master thesis is a project which is from Jilin University PhysicsDepartment and Chang chun Great Wall Teaching Instrument Co., Ltd. The purpose is to developZeeman Effect experiment assist analysis application software, this software can realize theZeeman Effect of split line observation, computer image capture, image saving, datameasurement, data processing and other functions.At present, The Zeeman Effect experiment data measurement has two ways:One is the most similar products using method of Three Point Circle. This is the commontest methods at present, is using computer for Zeeman Effect experiment, using CCD cameracapture the Zeeman Effect interference fringe pattern and then transfer to the computer. Nextusing the Three Point Circle for experimental data measurement and processing. Use this methodis intuitive and easy to operate, but due to computer monitor display performance and displayscale, the manipulator subjective judgment errors, making the data measurement random errorswill be relatively large.Another is our design and development method of optical multichannel method. Thismethod is more advanced spectrum detection method at present. Use CCD camera to measurethe spectral device, do not need to change any hardware equipment, which can realize opticalmultichannel method detection spectrum. First using computer digital image processingtechnology improve the interference image clarity, then using Hough transform automaticallycapture circle and obtain the experimental data. Using this method measurement data isrepeatable and can reduce the random errors. Use this method to calculate the wave-numberdifference is56.20m1, the charge-mass ratio is1.7654x1011C kg1. Compared with thetheoretical value, the charge-mass ratio and wave-number difference of the relative error is about0.28%, superior to the present Three Point Circle method widely used in the experiment.This paper discuss by using digital image processing technology for split line image processing, using the Hough transform to extract interference circle stripe characteristicinformation, making the experiment operation is easily, improving the accuracy and efficiency ofthe experimental data. Finally using “Visual Studio2005” tools to develop and debug Windowsapplication software (Zeeman Effect.exe). Use “Advanced Installer” software tools, through thewizard to create software installation package program (Zeeman Effect Setup.msi).
