Design and implementation of self-service library management system inColleges,The management of university library is a heavy work, The librarians arestruggling to cope with, and efficiency is not high in the treatment process of borrowingand returning books,this Lead to borrowing and returning books need long timewaiting,Therefore, in order to ensure that the library can be effective management andcirculation and make borrowing and returning books efficiency, in order to reduce thecirculation of flaws and free the librarian from the busy work of liberation,it is an importantmeasure to development and application of self service library management system inColleges.The system take the work that borrowing and returning books in Fujian AgricultureAnd Forestry University as the research object, and the reader centered. We designed anddeveloped a self-service library management system which is suit for the school library andin full consideration of the readers to use scanning gun to complete their own borrowingand returning books.The system uses theB/S and C/S mode hybrid architecture.The database that used inthe system is SQLServer2012,and the Development tools is Delphi7.0.We complete thesystem in use of visio2013combination with ASP.The role in this system include curatorand librarian and reader.there are many modular Realization in the system,includemanagement of books,management of readers,management of librarian,management ofLibrary books and Daily business analysis of the curator. In use of the system,the librarian became a mangager instead of a post that Librarybooks, Greatly reduced the working pressure of the librarian, and through openning sorts ofqueuing machine for the readers to Library books, sharply improved the efficiency of bookscirculation and get a high praise from the leader and the colleague.
