It is a win-win issue of course.With the rapid development of computer technology and Internet technology, inorder to satisfy the people’s entertainment needs, both at home or abroad, online videosites like bamboo shoots after a spring rain have emerged in large numbers. Thereis such a common problem in these online video website: complex code, nestedtables,<font> tag, as well as other redundant code to make a simple web site requirestwo to three times the bandwidth, visitors need to spend long time to wait for the pageto open, need to pay high cost of server at the same time, if every time a page tobrowse for30KB can meet the demand, will cost90KB bandwidth, so the morevisitors, traffic will be higher, the higher the cost of. So, the structured design in the process of video websiteconstruction is particularly important.The aim of our group is to build a video site, and I am responsible for thevisualized pages designing. In designing process, I didn’t use the traditional tablelayout, but use the XHTML+CSS standard, which make the pages layout clearer andclean. In our site, the Cambridge blue is used as the main color, which makes the userscomfortable. During my designing, the catalogue is divided rational; the IDs are namedpellucid, and the documents are written based on the CSS standard strictly. Withmainstream browsers, users can visit the pages after the test of XHTML and CSS byW3C. After combing the foreground pages with the background code, we completedthe construction of the video site.
