The Chinese edition of Global Times, with its power and influence in international news launched its namesake English edition, not only expand the channels and models of China’s external communication, but also provides reference to the Chinese media how to explore the development mode in cross-context communication follow the English media. Through the study of the comparison between Chinese and English edition, this paper purpose explore how to adjust the communication strategy based on the different audiences and language environment during the spread of internal and external communication, make the best communication effect and truly "Deliver the voice of China to the whole world".With the quantitative analysis of the American reports on Global Times2013both Chinese and English edition, I found in the vision of macroscopic level, the difference in the aspect of report quantity, layout editor, genre and the theme selection not very obvious. But in the vision of micro level, as the comparison of title, report content and editorial, I found the differences of content tendency between Chinese and English edition very obvious. Those differences show the influence of national ideology, cross-cultural communication and commercial nationalism etc. in mass media of communication. Under the influence of those factors, the Chinese edition of Global Times shows the image of America in negative tendency obviously, but the English edition of Global Times presented a neutral image of America with negative factor.
