Ethylene production is the largest one of organic chemical products in the world, an important symbol of ethylene production is a measure of a country’s level of development of the petroleum chemical industry. The cracking furnace is an important equipment of ethylene production device, on the cracking furnace control is good or bad, directly affect the stable operation of ethylene yield and subsequent process, thus affecting plant capacity and level of energy consumption. With the wide application of rapid development of automatic control system and alarm and interlock system, cracking furnace control level is becoming higher and higher, can foreknow automation technology in ethylene production process will play a more and more important role. Therefore, to make full use of the advanced control technology to improve the level of automation of the cracking furnace, has great significance for saving energy and reducing consumption, improving product quality, improve the core competitiveness of enterprises. This article is to Lanzhou Petrochemical160000tons of ethylene device of risk management of project as the background, using modern techniques, the cracking furnace control system and interlock alarm system upgrade. The main work is as follows:1) By means of TPS distributed control system America Honeywell company, completed a total of cracking furnace and group feed, cracking furnace outlet temperature adjustment, feed-forward, dilution steam and raw material ratio, drum level, vacuum furnace, high pressure superheated steam temperature adjustment, fuel system, the oil pressure and flow quench cooler outlet temperature, online coke cleaning etc.. Finally solves the cracking furnace control during operation of the problem complexity, difficult operation etc.2) To ensure the safety and stable operation of cracking furnace, in alarm interlocking system upgrade, the Tricon system of domestic consen company. The system is a process with high fault tolerance control system. Can the fault identification system components, automatic fault components to be excluded, allowed to continue to complete the assigned tasks at the same time, the fault element for online repair without interrupting the process operation. Completed in system transformation period:parking, parking, all level security, safety, long light cracking furnace cold drive, cracking furnace normal operation, thermal cracking furnace, cracking furnace coke cleaning safety interlocking application. Through this project, guarantee the safe and stable operation of the ethylene cracker, the quality of the products is improved, bringing economic benefits for the enterprise, the project experience and technological transformation of the domestic similar equipment automation, provides certain reference significance.
