The interlock control of three-car coke oven is an essential component of the automatic control of the coke oven-transferring machine. It is also the major problem that coking enterprises should deal with in order to insure the security of production. This paper is based on the efficient experience learnt through the comparison and analysis of the present domestic and foreign control systems. In this paper, the author proposes the idea of oven number identification and accurate contraposition, which can greatly reduce building and maintenance costs, increase the precision of automatic contraposition and enhance the applicability of this control system.As to the critical technological problems of the interlock control of three-car coke oven-oven number identification, accurate contraposition and data transmission, the author proposes solutions respectively - RFID, three-light positioning device, coke oven controller and radio transmission network. These solutions can ensure accurate identification of the oven number. For example, the deviation of the automatic parking position is within 10mm. Moreover, the data transmitted are reliable. In this control system, Color Liquid Crystal Display, which can provide both interaction between people and machines and a large amount of information, is applied, so that the operating condition of coke oven as well as the process plan can be displayed dynamically. This control system has the advantages of simplicity, practicability, stability, lower costs and readiness in maintenance, which can justify its being used widely.
