In recent years, along with the continuous development of urbanization, the domestic city gas pipeline network construction has been rolled out, it has played a positive effect on people’s living standards and energy saving. But in the process of rapid development of the gas pipe network, also with rising number and density of underground pipe network, it is becoming increasingly complicated, plus poor management and a number of reasons, so that the gas industry is faced with management measures that can not keep pace with, work efficiency is low, the current situation of informatization level is not high. Gas pipeline leakage and explosion accidents occurred frequently, so they cause enormous casualties and economic losses, also have a negative impact on the society public safety and social stability.This thesis combine the GIS technology with city gas pipe network construction, aimed at the gas pipe network management status, based on ArcGIS and NET platform technology, using C/S mode of the Server and the client, using the network analysis model,risk fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model and the flow of gas pipeline network computing model to develop a set of city gas pipe network information system. In this thesis, the research content and results are divided into the following four aspects:(1) Analysis the technology(ArcGIS component technology, COM components, and.net platform, analysis of the spatial data engine technology and network technology)that related to city gas pipe network information system to design gas pipeline network system and develop the system.(2) According to the characteristics of the gas pipe network, author builds gas pipeline network information system database, studies the risk of gas pipeline equipment, combine with the fuzzy mathematics theory, establish risk fuzzy comprehensive evaluation system; build a network model based on database,study network early warning function by using gas pipeline flow calculation model;By using the principle of the flow analysis and the shortest path, study the network function of emergency rescue; author also Use ArcGIS component technology and the knowledge of thematic map to study thematic map of pipeline system.(3) Study design principle of Database.According to the process of building, construct gas pipeline network database.Use Geodatabase object-oriented data model.take the form of an open space data and attribute data to store in the database management system of DBMS by uniting.Using SQL Server2008+ArcSDE10spatial data engine establishes a database to store spatial data and attribute data of network data.(4) Based on ArcEngine and C#programming language, system software development has many gas pipe network functions including user management, tube analysis, diffusion analysis, network risk assessment, emergency rescue analysis and thematic map,and programme to realize the related function.so it can make the system help to manage gas pipeline network data and help managers intuitively understand running condition of the network. Through data early warning, we can eliminate gas network security hidden danger; After the accident, it can help managers to take remedial measures quickly, then reduce accident loss to the minimum;At the same time, according to gas history data, system can generate all kinds of thematic map, it is designed to help managers to make the best decisions.
