LCD Screen Detection Control Software Design

At present, LCD has became the protagonist in the display market, which highly depended on its higher resolution, smaller volume, lower power consumption. With the increase of public demand for LCD,The production scale of LCD manufacturers is expanding unceasingly, so the LCD quality detection becomes a vital procedure of detecting the bad products to enhance the market competitiveness for LCD manufacturers timely..A majority of small and medium-size enterprises detect the LCD by using Semi-automated Artificial Technology. Detect the various functions of the LCD by using the LCD detection system that consists of PC control software and the LCD screen detection equipments.In this paper, based on analysis of the user’s actual demand in detail,a PC clients control software for detecting LCD screen that applied to LCD aging test was designed.The main works are as follows:Firstly, the hardware development environment of this detecting system and the basic steps of the LCD screen detection have been introduced, and then analyzed the demand of software detailedly which applied to the PC clients.Secondly, designed the overall scheme of the software.The PC clients control the pattern generator in the aging ovens remotely via network communication, The pattern generator obtain the information of the related module and the pattern groups through the shared folder of PC by mounting PC;Introduced the programming language QT and the construction of the software development environment; In addition, recommended the design of the general structure and main function about the software in detail.Thirdly, designed and completed each module in the software,which includes communication module, file management module, main control module and sub-interface module.The function of remote control for each PG in the aging oven,the picture switching control of LCD screens and other basic testing capabilities was achieved by using these modules. Besides, the good file management and design are used for some important files such as modules and pattern groups.Finally, we completed the joint test of the PC clients control software, pattern generator and LCD screen.Experiment results shown that the software has many advantages such as friendly interface, work stability, simple operation,highly reliability, which reached at the expected design goal.
