Design And Implementation Of Satellite Demodulator Remote Control Module

The serial port is used extensively in computer communication.The serial port hasbeen developed for more than ten years commonly used in data transmission betweencomputer and external devices, especially in the fields of telecommunication and autocontrol, because of its cheap price, simple structure, and stable transmission.In view of the actual working conditions, this paper aims to use the suitableRS-485serial port for designing software and realizing remote control of varoussatellite receivers and down converters. This poject is under VC++6.0environment,based on MFC Mscomm Control,the database adopted ADO（active dataobject）database technology. Finally, this software realizes the remote control of onedown converter and two diversified satellite receivers under RS-485serial port, andreal-time monitoring of the signals and data from the three devices, as well as recordthis data into database to be used anytime.This paper first introduces the application and advantages of serial portcommunication, summarizes its characteristics and also introduces the research contents.Secondly, it researches the serial port communication technology and programmingtechnology involved in designing this software, and then systematically analyses thecommand formats and communication agreements, combined with the actual workingapplications, finally choose the RS-485serial port for designing the software. Accordingto requirment of design, build the overall framework of the system and set the directionof the design. Thirdly, it is about the design and programming of the software modules.Followed by the tests of the system and get the result. At the end, it concludes thedesign and programming of the software, analyses its future research and direction ofuse.This software fits the working situation and could solve the problems in works.Through monitoring, control and management of several devices by computers, all thedevices controlled form a unity. Thus, the working efficiency is improved greatly, andmakes all these devices could complement each other’s advantage, benifits a lot,reduces works and wins extensive reputation.
