With the rapid development of communication networks and universal Android mobile terminals, mobile phone, iPad and other mobile terminal as a medium of mobile video system has attracted more and more people of all ages. Based on the Android operating system, this paper give the implementation of an ARM mobile video system with Samsung s5pv210as the control core.In this paper, we selected the Mini210s development board based on the friendly arm as the hardware device, used the Android operating system, and developed the corresponding mobile video software. The highlight of this system is to select Mini210s development board as the video capture server-side, first of all, real-time video capture and playback locally, meanwhile, after the H.264hardware compression coding, using RTP protocol to package, then following the UDP transport protocol, sending the video stream data to the host computer via the network. At last, host computer receives real-time decoding of video data to play and storage. This paper first analyzes the mobile video system key technology, including the relations between Android and Linux drivers, H.264video encoding technology, RTP packetization protocol, streaming media technology and SDP session description protocol. Second, the overall design of this system is given, using UML language to analyze the interface relationships between Android multimedia framework and the Linux drivers. On this basis, wrote the mobile video software, realize the function of video capture, local display and send video data on Android. In this paper, the implementation of the ARM mobile video system, after test, showed that the system is stable, real-time, has a strong practical value.
