The Design And Implementation Of Student Information Management System Based On Web

Student information management system can realize the sharing of various students’information and other information resources. It is an important part of digital managementof campus, which plays a vital role in the informatization construction of the studentmanagement work in universities. This topic is chosen due to the demand of front-linestudent management work and the informatization construction in the college where theauthor has been engaging in student management work for many years. Based on theanalysis of the student information management in the above-mentioned college and thecurrent situation of campus digitalization, this thesis analyses the requirements of studentmanagement information system which include college students’ information managementneed, network office need, and software and hardware environment need. Then, itintroduces the main key technologies used in the system for implementing theserequirements: management information system (MIS), Web technology, ASP technologyand B/S architecture. Furthermore, it elaborates the design of the functional modules ofthe system by applying the above key technologies according to the system requirementsand describes the detailed design of the information flow, database of system and thecorresponding data table structure with emphasis on the main function modules:registration and login, student enrollment management, student affairs management,student dormitory management, student sponsorship management, employment guidance,system management and implementation process respectively. Finally, the thesis discussesbriefly the testing process of the system: black box testing method used to test thesystem’s modules.With the friendly interface, convenient operation, practical function, fast searchingand finding and some feasible measures adopted in the confidentiality of information, thesystem can realize comprehensive automation management of student information, at thesame time, information security is guaranteed so that the purpose of the "paperless office"is basically reached and comprehensive informatization of students management work isachieved.
