Design And Implementation Of Grain Purchase And Sale Management Information System Based On Web Framework

State Grain Reserves Changsha Depot services for the vast rural areas of HunanProvince, whose annual quantity of grain inbound and outbound is over tens ofthousands of tons. As one of its main business, grain purchase and sale has a closerelation with kinds of information, such as purchase prices, origin, production time,outbound price, etc. While in daily work, the data, which seems inconsistent,incomplete, inaccurate, and outdated, is useless for the deciders when makingdecisions on grain purchase, reserve and circulation, due to the lack of effectiveinformation management tools.According to the needs of the depot’s daily work, this study developed a grainpurchase and sale management information system based on WEB technology. First ofall, the author worked out the main research contents and problems to solve, throughanalyzing the industry background, engineering background, industry status andtechnical status of domestic and foreign. Then, using cases to analyze the systemrequirements so that to describing the functional requirements of this system. On thatbasis, by using unified modeling tools, the thesis designed the system architecture,making further improvement on the depot information system’s overall architecture,business scope and overall demand, and elaborating the enterprise in the acquisition,storage, sales, finance, business process and data flow as well.This study has designed a grain purchase and sale database by using PowerDesigner, and implemented on the relational database management system SQL Server.Using struts2+Spring+iBATIS framework and MVC design pattern, the system wasdivided into3levels: data storage, business logic, and data display and user operation,then developed Grain Purchase and Sale System with J2EE technology architecturethat including functions of user role management, security control, business processinformation management, which completely realized the exchange of grain purchaseand sale information.Grain Purchase and Sale System，after functional testing and performance testing,has been used in State Grain Reserves Changsha Depot. The main problems solved bythis newborn system are as follows:1) transformed the manner of food priceinformation report from traditional telephone to telephone, face to face into networkinstant upload that makes information preservation, comparison and analysis more convenient;2) established a business centered management system, linking up thebusiness department,warehousing department and the finance department, making thesharing available at any time through the network;3) realized the unified managementof real-time information, scientific statistic and precise query, as well as the networkimprovement of purchase and sale management and business decisions.The design of Grain Purchase and Sale System is conducive to effectiveinformation work for the staff, and greatly improves the food operation andmanagement efficiency.
