| Embedded with advanced management concept, standard business flow and database technology, the purchase-sale-stock management system holds a full management and control over the material, information and finance flow through the core business. With the high-speed development of China foundry industry, the foundry enterprises seek to improve their management level and skills in order to meet the requirement of their expanding business. This paper designed and developed the purchase-sale-stock management system according to the features and requirements of medium- and small- foundry enterprises, putting forward a solution to the informationoization construction for foundry enterprises.First, it was the concept design of the system, deciding what problems the system should solve and how to solve. And the features of this system were analyzed. The basic steps for implementation were discussed.Second, a detailed requirement analysis has been conducted, and the core businesses were grouped into purchase, sale, production and stock, which were accompanied with the business flow and data flow diagram. The data dictionary was built for depicting data and its processing method.Third, the system was designed according to the result of the requirement analysis, which includes four function modules: purchase management, sales management, inventory management and system management. The architecture for the system is C/S and the PowerBuilder 11.5 was selected as developing tool and SQL Anywhere 10 as the database tool.Finally, it was the case study of implementing the system in a foundry enterprise, through which the usage of the system in real situation was introduced. And the significance of this system can play in the process of enterprise informationization construction has been summarized. And the future for the system development has been discussed. |
