With the development of internet and wireless network technology, bank cards, e-bank onlineand mobile payment are used by more and more people due to the convenience of thesetechniques. However, while these new payment services bring convenience to human, they alsobring a lot of potentially unsafe and unnecessary troubles. It is easily for cardholder to forget totake bank cards when doing transaction.Moreover, the password of cards may easily be stolen,which brings security risks. Because of the increasing complexity of the modern Internetenvironment, cardholder’s identity, account and password may be leaked when tjey use the onlinepayment or mobile payment services, making economic losses and troubles. The main reason forthese problems is that these identity authentication just identified the binding information ofuser rather than a real person, so that the user’s identity could be simply pretend by a third party.This paper analyzes and studies the current development situation of domestic and internationalpayment methods, and points out the shortcomings of current payment methods widely used.Under this background, this paper proposed and implemented a payment terminal model based onfingerprint recognition technology. We adopt a method to identify the fingerprint when payingand integrate the authentication to the mobile terminal,so as to solve some problems existing inthe mode of payment.The main job contents are as follows:(1) Analyzes the characteristics and fingerprint recognition principle, realizing a set of fingerprintrecognition algorithm, and improves part of the algorithm.(2) Analyzes and designes a system framework, building software and hardware platform basedon S5PV210processor. Developes Bootloader used for fast start and transplants the Linux kerneland associated device drivers adopted by theAndroid system and Android system.(3) Developes MBF200fingerprint sensor device drivers, middleware and payment clients.(4) Designes and developes server system and management client which can be used for handlingvarious requests of payment terminal and management client.Finally, after the completion of the system design, the paper takes a test for the function andperformance of fingerprint recognition algorithm, payment terminal, management client andserver system.System test result demonstrates that the fingerprint identification fingerprint imageprocessing algorithm this paper developed has a good effect, and the improved algorithm has ahigher efficiency than the original algorithm. Functionality and speed of fingerprint paymentsystem basically reached the expected demand, which has some practical value on paymentidentify.
