The business needs of printing and dyeing enterprises to be promoted by the rapiddevelopment of internet and database technology, so an accord with the informationmanagement system has been set up. But the relational model and object model does notmatch at present, because of using object-oriented technology for logical processing onthe basis of a relational database mainly in the system. Therefore, this paper based on the development of an information managementsystem, which is in line with the printing and dyeing industry. On the basis of realizethe function of each module in the dyeing and printing information management system, using XML technology to build a lightweight O/R mapping model, and putting itssystem of data persistence layer, in order to solve the object model and relational modelof data does not match. This can make the system has efficient reusability, flexibilityand scalability. In this paper, the main research content includes the following twoaspects:(1) Design and implement a printing and dyeing information management system:First of all, Demand for printing business process analysis. Then design for theinformation management system of printing and dyeing. Finally, design for thesubsystem and the database(2) The use of XML technology to build O/R mapping model: Using XML as theprimary information carrier construct lightweight O/R mapping model. with this O/Rmapping model acts as a data persistence layer, first parsing data tables generatedintermediate document of XML, second parsing document of XML generate an objectmodel and data manipulation interfaces. Finally, the O/R Mapping model as data persistence layer is applied to theinformation management system of printing and dyeing to improve the efficiency ofsystem development and system scalability, flexibility.
