Social continuous improvement, continuous information gathering way of widening, more and more literature information in front of people, has been acting as literature information collection and preservation station roles university library, intended to carry out more and more documents stored information, classification and management, to facilitate access to a variety of cultural achievements. In many libraries inside, both the amount and the number continues to increase reading, the library system to aid the implementation and management of such resources in order to meet people’s needs in the library management and services. The author studies the evolutionary history of foreign library induction system, now under the premise of the case, the design of an ASP.NET technology-based library management system. It uses the concept of pre-developed software processes and standard modeling language, according to the now relatively complete software development methods, since the demand for research system, the core idea of the development and implementation of specific detection methods in order to introduce the five aspects of library information systems, in the latter part of the development process. In the detailed implementation methods, the C#language as a means of system development with, but also by means of SQL Server2008as the database of the system. On the design of the library management system interface is very good, function well, compatibility, use and maintenance are very aspect other advantages, particularly in small and medium sized library is very useful. In software development sectors, according to the standard criteria to carry out software development, large-scale software gives good practical, tough resistance and scalability, the system can use aspects of the user’s access to a large extent, help to promote the use.
