Design And Implementation Of A School Student Information Management System

Along with the continuous expansion of colleges and universities, not only the quantity of students increases, but also the quantity of majors and classes has increased dramatically. And such information as students’ personal data and performance almost doubled, while currently in most colleges and universities the management of students information still remains on the manual operation level, with too much repeated work, heavy work load and low efficiency. So it urgently requires a student information management system to improve the management level and work efficiency.This paper focuses on the design and realization of students’ information management system. This paper mentioned student information management system is used in the actual work and study. It is management software developed to process the greater students’ information management work in colleges and universities, mainly used for students information management in universities, with its overall target to achieve the students information management systematically, standardization and automation; and its main task is to manage all kinds of students information via computer through modify, review, delete and add such functional modules. Concentrate on these functional modules, the management system is developed based on Visual Basic6.0background, WINDOWS SERVER2008operating system, and SQLServer2005background database.
