In this paper, after combing the development process and development trend of domesticand Universal Test System, combined with the emergence of new industries in recent years totest new technologies and concepts of the past few years writing test system software projectexperience for large, complex test system design requirements, as the case of light weaponsterminal killing effect platform, trying to design a universal test platform softwarearchitecture.This paper analyzes the idea based on thus three different designing: instrument-oriented,application-oriented and signal-oriented. Design test system development methodology,drawing on the advantages of different design ideas to build a focused direction of these threetest systems, instrument-oriented design Interface versatile instrument driver library andequipment for the bottom to application-oriented design concepts and instruments forapplications developed for the top-level, signal-oriented design ideas for the bridge, testmanagement software as the core to build the middle layer test platform to XML document asa medium for data communication between the three layers, building a flexible, open, stable,reusability good test platform system. Write the test program development software testingapplication-oriented user interface, responsible for human-computer interaction andnon-test-related functions; test process management, resource scheduling software andhardware test platform and as a user application and instrument control through isolation testmanagement software, user applications to achieve hardware independence.The test platform using NI LabWindows/CVI code modules written the basic tests. UserInterface module that tests the bottom and top platform. Implementation of NI Teststand usetest management software to manage test modules to achieve functional platform in themiddle layer, through configuration files, XML files and databases to achieve access to testdata, build up basic test platform. Then, depending on project needs, in the case of fixed equipment, through the platform of good scalability and openness, can be secondarydevelopment platform, designed to meet the application needs of users. Meanwhile, the IVIplatform using internationally accepted as a common interface standard interface standard forcompliance with the standards of equipment and drivers, but when testing the applicationfixed the underlying equipment replacement may modify the top-level program to modifyonly the bottom of the middle layer minor modifications to complete modifications to the testsystem.Because of the restrict of applications, the platform currently only support32bitWindowsXP or Windows7OS.
