RFID Radio Frequency Identification is a technology of auto-identification, starting from1990s. The basic theory of how it works is to put a digital tag on a subject waiting to be identified, Reader will send radio frequency through arena. The arena in the system will receive the signal sent from the digital tag and transit it to the reader through arena. When UFH RFID is used in library, the service model evolves from librarian serving readers to readers self-serving themselves. This will bring the transformation of paper books circulation business and the service level increase and breakthrough. This has laid a foundation for intelligent libraries. This study is based on the UHF RFID technology to build a management system for an intelligent library with RF ID construction. This RFID library intelligent management system includes digital tag transfer, librarian station, in door automatic borrowing and returning, Outdoor automatic borrowing and returning, RFID intelligent data searching, Anti-theft detector and monitoring center. It is an upgrade from the automatic management system which focuses on " bar code+integrated management system+anti-theft magnetic". It provides solution to the request of one to one ID identification, precise position location, map checking, and accurate statistics.This study is based on the actual demand of intelligent library management, whic h proceed with management system and service system. It’s based on the Windows se rvice platform and the SQL Server2000data base. This library intelligent manageme nt system includes digital tag transfer, librarian station, checking module and in doo r automatic borrowing and returning machine,24hours’ automatic borrowing and retu rning automachine, intelligent data searching, Anti-theft detector and monitoring cent er.
