Design And Implementation Of RFID Library Intelligent Management System

The library is an important base for the information and socialization of a university, and it’s the Documentation and Information Center of the university, and it represents the general level of the university. How to achieve the greatest of its value affectively and in a new style is the most important issure the sound developing modern libraries have to face.[1] At present, The library management systems domestic commonly use the "security magnetic stripe+barcode "technical means, solving some of the problems of the library management, but the problems such as the automatic inventory of books, the self check in and out of books, regional positioning of books etc. can not be well resolved. However the new radio frequency identification technology can deal with above problems easily, achieving the self check in and out, high-speed inventory, quickly finding, positioning, arrangement and, sorting of books.RFID is a radio frequency identification and automatic identification technology. The advantages of RFID include:no contact recognition, reading distance, large amount of information is stored, can read and write tag information, high speed read and write, strong anti-jamming capability than the barcode, and simultaneously read multiple tags.^As the computer and network technologies are widely and maturely used, many repetitive tasks have been processed and control by computers and the close integration of the radio frequency identification technology and computer technology will greatly improve the management level and service level of libraries, obtaining a more effective, more time management and control of books.^Based on radio frequency identification and automatic identification technology, this paper implements a book intelligent management system, First, the new features of the library intelligent management are analysis, and the business processes of the library intelligent management are introduced based on the analysis, and the main functional modules of the intelligent management system functional are illustrated. Including the electronic tag conversion module, library workstation module, book retrieve module, book inventory module, safety monitoring module, RFID Admin module monitoring center module.Second, an analyses model of the library intelligent management is designed using the RFID (radio frequency identification) technology. The functional modules of the library intelligent management system was designed completely, and come up with a design suitable for library intelligent management system.
