In recent years, with the deepening process of the medical and health system reform, the information construction of medical institutions which manage and supply blood resources (blood banks in short hereafter) have achieved a great development, and created positive social and economic benefits. Under such a new situation, how blood banks deal with blood collection, inspection, processing, storage, distribution, transportation, clinical infusion and other aspects of timely, comprehensive, complete and accurate information management, make the regional blood services can realize information sharing, all of these issues have become a modern management and an important means to ensure the quality of blood and the safety of blood transfusion. In this thesis, by using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA in short hereafter), which is combined with blood stations of the existing information resources, an information system of management for blood banks is built. The main work of this thesis is as follows:This thesis analyzes the status and problems of the blood management information systems, and analyzes the actual demands or process of donation information management from the national policy, the overall functional requirements, the main technical requirements, and so on. On this basis, this thesis gives the overall system architecture design, elaborates SOA technical architecture and business database design, discusses the key modules of detailed system design and implementation, and demonstrates the actual deployment of the system and application effect. Issued by the State of blood industry-related policies and regulations as the basis, taking the way of SOA technology architecture integrated with the needs of the industry, hierarchical designing, planning for business data and thematic database logical structure and physical structure, this thesis provides a set of efficient, safe, data sharing, B/S architecture information management system for the blood stations.The blood management information system of this thesis has been formally put into operation, and has achieved good results in the actual user large-scale deployment of applications, this system support blood information traceability and data exchange of heterogeneous system, meanwhile, this system has the guiding significance of theoretical and practical aspects information for improving the level of blood stations information management, and comprehensively improving the quality of blood and blood support capability.
