The visual simulation technology is one of the important research topics in the field of modern high-tech simulation. It is widely used in national defense, military, aerospace and other fields. Image generation technology is one of the important means to obtain virtual scene source, and it can be used to test and evaluate the performance of simulation system. It has important theoretical significance and widely application prospect.This paper focuses on the technology of computer image simulation for flying targets:A three-dimensional model of the flight target is established through3D solid modeling software Multigen-Creator. A visible light flight scene merged with target and background is generated in the visual simulation software Vega. Then the simulation work conducts material mapping towards to the model and carries out atmospheric transport modeling, and an infrared simulation of flight scenes is generated through the Vega infrared sensor module; This paper also establishes an infrared visual simulation software through the Vega API function under VC6.0platform and realizes the function of real-time human-computer interaction.Series of target infrared images of different attitude under different factors are generated. Finally, the credibility of simulation images is verified by the methods of image quality evaluation and image evaluation indicators.The simulation images of visible and infrared light which are generated in this paper meet the requirements of the human visual, and they are also proved to be credible in this paper. It has certain theoretical significance and reference value for the image source simulation in the future.
