In order to test and evaluate the infrared seeker system in laboratory, reduce the cost, and offer recycle experiment environments, it is necessary to set up infrared scene simulator system.The technology of infrared scene projection is the key of the hardware in the loop simulation system. The projection system of infrared dual-band simulator based on DMD can offer higher quality infrared imagery, which can widely used in the testing and evaluating of the infrared seeker system.In this thesis, an infrared dual-band projection system is designed by ZEMAX, which based on the qualification of the system. The completely transmission-type structure is adopted in the system, the working wavebands are3~5μm and8~12μm, focal length200mm, F number3. The system was composed of four pieces of lenses, and the binary element is also introduced. At the cut-off frequency of17lp/mm, the MTF curves of each field of view nearly reach to the diffraction limit curves, the MTF values in each waveband are higher than0.7and0.37separately.The system is compact and its total length is about240mm. at last, tolerance analysis is carried out in order to ensure the feasibility of the system.
