Dual band infrared scene simulation technology is one of the most important development direction of the infrared simulation technology. The projection optical system is an important part of scene simulation system. According to the working principle of infrared scene simulation and the imaging characteristics of infrared dual band, a projection optical system of dual band infrared scene simulation based on digital micromirror device is designed in this paper.This projection optical system’s structure is simple and only composed of three spherical lens and a projection prism. The chromatic aberration of infrared dual band is corrected by introducing a diffraction optical element and reasonable using three kinds of infrared materials, the imaging quality of the system is excellent. After allocating the tolerance and Monte Carlo simulation, the performance of the optical system can meet the application requirements.
