In recent years, with the rapid development of3G wireless networks and Internet, radio transmission data rate has been significantly improved. Taking advantages of this feature, real-time video capture and processing, upload by using a smart mobile phone, and broadcasting live on Web and mobile clients is possible. The live mobile video system designed in this article is based on a wideband wireless network technology, with which one can upload and broadcast live what he shoots by using a smart mobile phone either based on Android operating system or IOS. Therefore, based on the system described in the paper, which is cheap and easy in operation, people can use a common smart mobile phone instead of a professional video equipment to implement their video broadcast live themselves. In the paper, a safer and more reliable Linux system is selected as the operating system of the network server. The software for PC client terminal is designed according to the B/S scheme based on an IE browser. This design is easier for users to operate. The RTP/RTSP is chosen as the transmission protocol for video data broadcasting on3G networks and Internet. Since wireless transmission is convenient to interconnect mobile phone, the server and the terminal, we choose the wireless network for data transmission, including3G networks, wireless local area networks and wide area networks. The H.264video compression coding standard is used for processing the acquired video data. Based on the basic composition of the video broadcast system, this paper first introduces main functions implemented in each module, key technologies used in designing the module, and the system operation principle. Then, the design scheme of the overall system architecture, software framework, and the functions of each software module are depicted. Third, the software designs of each part of the video system are described more detail respectively. Technical essentials are addressed in describing the implementation of key modules in the system. Finally, system test result is given to shown that the design is reasonable.
