With the thorough application of electronic technology in the medical device field, more and more medical devices are designed to be interactive products. They require various kinds of interface for data transfer. The USB interface is the most widely used interface standard of all others, but because of the special safety requirements for medical devices, USB interface can not be directly used for medical devices, which makes many medical devices still use the old serial interface for communication.This thesis analyzes which safety requirements should be considered when the USB interface used in medical device, to study how to create a USB communication interfaces which compliance with the medical device safety standard. Analysis of the structure of isolated USB interface, and create a electrostatic discharge and electrical fast transient burst protection circuit based on isolated USB interface. And according to the product’s actual needs, design a line with GB9706.1standard separate USB-HID communication module. Communication module is based STM32MCU platform development, software development based firmware library.This article made a detailed analysis to the USB-HID report structure. Using a variety of different code examples show how its work, and discussed common problems. Article also resolved STM32USB data processing system, and how to carry out a specific user programming.
