As integrated electronic information system has been vastly in application and is getting more and more complicated, its software architecture is neither C/S nor B/S, but a mixed network architecture with many nodes on it deployed and processing distributedly. From the viewpoint of domain software development, both requirement and business keeps changing, while only the architecture and software integration platform remain the same. It means that a designer should concentrate on business logic itself, rather than waste much time and energy on great many important but business relativeless problems with distributed applications such as communication, interoperation, reliability, integrity, scalability and so on. Therefore, for the development of a domain project such as integrated electronic information system, it is crucial to have a platform for software development and integration that is stable, relatively independent, and easy to construct system prototype upon.By analyzing the principle and features of component-oriented technology, and the advantages of applying it in software system construction, a method for electronic information system architecture construction and software integration is proposed applying component-oriented technology. On this basis, by applying technologies such as middleware, framework, component-oriented development and message-oriented middleware, a software integration platform for electronic information system is designed and implemented, which is discussed in detail.Main researches about the platform include:1) Design of software component model and specifications on component development and integration;2) Design and implementation of component integration framework, which provides a vessel for configurable loading and runing of components;3) Realization of a message-oriented software based on technologies such as inter-process communication and socket network communication, which provides inter-system, inter-process and inter-component information exchange;4) Design and implementation of service console and seat console software, which provides life-time component monitor and management.The component technology-based software integration platform supports efficient, simplified and resusable development, integration and deployment of electronic information system, thus meets its high performance requirement. By it, moreover, busines developers no longer need to get familiar with computer techiniques, and can concerntrate on designing business models and components. In conclusion, the proposed method makes reference value for electronic information system design and development.
