Dual or multiple control system is one controlled variable controlled by two or more manipulated variables.This kind of system uses two manipulated variables, one of which satisfies the economic and technological rationality, but not enough to overcome the interference effectively; the other manipulated variable meets effectiveness and rapidity, but with poor economical efficiency and technological rationality.Dual Control System is an optimized system that combines the respective advantages of the variables and overcome their weakness.As a background of the Dual Control System, this thesis will first discuss the basic principles, structure and working process theoretically to analyze its performance characteristics. Secondly, compares the Dual Control System with Single-loop Feedback Control System and the same type of complex control system to understand their strengths and weaknesses through the system modeling and simulation. Thirdly, uses advanced control algorithms to improve the traditional dual control system to verify the superiority of the new dual control system through simulation experiments. Lastly, in order to study the engineering algorithms, we developed a real-time monitoring system based on OPTO22PAC Project to control tobacco re-drying process effectively so that its value can be reflected.This thesis focuses on the new dual control algorithm theory and its application in the actual industrial production.Different from the PI control algorithm in both the main loop and the auxiliary of traditional dual control strategy,the new dual control strategy uses the predictive PI control algorithm in the main loop,it has not only the advantage of traditional dual control algorithm but also can avoid the shortcomings of slow regulation and large fluctuation.Then presents a novel dual control strategy to control the outlet moisture of tobacco re-drying production.Tobacco re-drying process is a multiple interference, large delay and uncertain process with large heat capacity,Any section of different process temperature and humidity changes will affect the subsequent paragraphs of the parameters and the moisture content of tobacco exports.Faced with this complex controlled object, using new dual control algorithm can reduce the export of tobacco redrying process moisture fluctuations, increased tobacco yield and quality rate.In order to better the new dual control algorithm applied to actual production, final OPTO22PAC Project will be designed based on a real-time monitoring software, an increase of the applied control algorithm works.
