Along with the development of economic and the adjustment of our national defense, armies and armed policemen are playing a more and more important role during the protection of our county、people and wealth. Firearms are also a key role in the instruction of our army.With the large application of information technology, traditional management methods such as logging in paper、to manage firearms orally and inspection timely and so on, have become the main problems that counteract the progress of the whole army. Aiming at these problems, we need to use the information method to improve the existing problems.In the paper, according to the practical requirements of policemen daily training, the writer uses the thinking of software engineering development, refers to the experiences of traditional firearms management, designs and implements firearms routine training management system. The paper begins the analysis of firearms management in and out of the country, aims at the problems now existing in the firearms management, uses the method of the C/S (Client/Server) mode, combines the technology of database and object oriented, develops a firearms training system for policemen to make up the low efficiency and low agility of traditional management.At the beginning, the paper gives the detail requirements analysis for the system. The main processes of the system are expatiated, the main functions of the system are analysed, and the requirements of the interfaces、security and running environment of the system are also confirmed. Next, the paper expatiate the detail design of the system hierarchy and function modules. Then the paper gives the implementation of the system and instructions of the programs. At last, the paper gives the simple summary of the development of firearms management. The system consists of seven modules and two fundamental modules, they are user management module、firearms out of warehouse management module、firearms in of warehouse management module、inspection module、information query、system management and the use of firearms in emergency; Two fundamental modules include user logging module and common module. The system use the object oriented development method, the Visual C++development language; the technology of SQL Server2010is used to design of database.
