| With the speedy development of the telecommunication industry, the issues each serviceprovider concerns most are how to ensure the quality of mobile network and improve users’experience, in order to increase its competitiveness and market share. Nowadays, in respect ofmaintenance of the network, dial testing is a way commonly used by service providers todiscover, verify network malfunction and to avoid potential problems. However, thetraditional dial testing has to be conducted manually and therefore has some disadvantages,for example, the costs is relatively high, the testing could only be carried out for limited times,and it is unable to conduct a real-time testing.In the background of technologies innovation, the mobile network is becomingincreasingly complicated and the coverage thereof has been gradually broadening. Theinnovation and reform of relevant technologies are facilitating new businesses. As a result, themaintenance engineers are facing with more and more routine testing work. In addition, thetypes of network malfunction become various and diverse. The traditional manual dial testingis falling behind the market demand. Service providers should develop efficient and accurateautomatic dial testing systems for network maintenance.In this thesis, from Perspectives of Tibet’s need, has aroused The concept of networkmonitoring on dial testing, Basing on the materials from interviewing, the users need fromdifferent groups on dial testing has been analyzed into Phonetic sound, message, multimediamessage, GRPS, WAP five types of service on dial testing, index and specific requirement ondial testing. And the six of the system modules are highlighted to analyze from demand andcontent aspects. They are topologies management, task management, statistical returnsmanagement, dial testing equipment management, dial testing resource management.In this thesis, firstly, has built a general framework on dial testing and finished a specificdesignation on network deployment. Secondly, in regard to the system, the thesis has madethe comparison, analysis and designation on technologies in the fields of functionalconstruction, module classification, service fulfillment and other equipment. The modulesdesignation enables the center to improve its function in a clear and convenient way. Thirdly,the remote testing device and connector have been designed specifically in this paper. Forth,this paper has standardized the connecting system. The whole system has set five connectors,connecting message basing on TCP/IP as low level message carrier, long-term connectingmessaging way, and analyzed three inner connectors’ locations, functions, and features. Ingeneral, giving unified definition to standardize the systems, with the purpose that the system has higher level of scalability and compatibility, is one of the core elements in this thesis.Therefore, the result of this thesis has significant value in both theory and practice. |
