High frequency power amplifier is the communication equipment indispensable module.Power amplifier used for military radio, radar, mobile communication equipment, and so on.The power amplifier is mainly used in the channel transmitter. Power amplifier is used foramplify the modulated signal, and radiate with the suitable antenna, to ensure that the receivercan receive and demodulate the signal. High frequency power amplifier is the key componentin the RF channel. He is an important element to achieve long-distance transmission ofmobile equipment. The performance will directly influence the RF channel of communication.Broadband and high power requirements, is the main development trend of the RF poweramplifier.The power amplifier module is used for laboratory power capacity test. It need longtime continuous emission, high reliability requirements of the power amplifier. This designuses a broadband matching technology, using a transmission line transformer and broadbandcomponents with matching network, simulation design by ADS. The circuit is divided intothree stages, and the input signal is not greater than10dB (the signal generator inputexcitation can be used, reducing the use of complexity). the power supply with+24V, throughthree levels of the gain distribution, the power output of not less than100W, and efficiency isnot less than30%. The last stage using the push-pull type MOSFETS. There are someadvantages, for example, low noise; low power consumption. The frequency rangecovered30MHz to110MHz. Realizes the multi octave bandwidth and poweramplifier design, and the total gain of not less than40dB. Also takes into account the designof antenna port standing wave protection, overheat protection and indicator, antennamismatch protection and indication function.In the aspect of reliability engineering design, this paper also includes reliabilityprediction, reliability calculation method, maintainability and testability design, safetydesign, electromagnetic compatibility design.For the design results, this paper also gives the test results in detail, and compared withthe simulation results. Finally completed the design of power amplifier module, given themeasured data, and meet the design requirements, to achieve the desired effect.
