Rapid advances in technology, Chinese mobile Internet technology is getting close toforefront of the world. At present, the major operators are ready to pave the4G network atany time, the mobile internet is facing the unprecedented developing opportunities. Therevolution which brought by the bandwidth and the way of access excites the whole industry,encouraged the development of various mobile applications around the mobile terminal,hence directly bring in numerous employment opportunities in the field, moreover, leadingpeople to a new lifestyle. In the background of all technology companies are armingthemselves with mobile applications for informatization, the university, which is consideredstanding at the forefront of technology, also actively studying on how to adopt mobileapplication technologies for university informatization, so that to build up a new intelligentcampus. This article is based on the above situation, detailed analyzes the campus’ needs andstatus of mobile applications, then design and implement effective college mobileapplications.Based on the analysis of the university information technology achievements, the articleintroduced the status of information isolated island, and the use of mobile applications tobreak information isolated island as an effective solution. By presenting the whole procedureof campus mobile application, from needs, planning, design, implementation, deployment,testing, to the releasing, it made simple exploration and research on each aspect. The project’sfirst phase is implementing with native application by Android, iOS operating system. Thearticle highlights implementation method of iOS, and also discussed the unique ecologicalenvironment for iOS. The project collects the contents of approaching campus, campusactivities, campus scenery, campus maps, campus Yellow Pages, teachers’ lounge, officeinformation, e-mail systems, etc. On the one hand, the project can enhance the campusappearance, on the other hand, by gathering varieties of information, it can improve the workof teachers and efficiency of students, also enhance mobile informatization services,meanwhile combine the campus informatization technology with teaching, management anddaily life.The project achieved a good-performing and stable-operating mobile application system,which received good user experience during the terminal tests. This project acted as a solidbase to develop mobile applications and implement university informatization.
