The Research Of Applications For The Mobile Information Technology In University Informationization Construction

With the developing of Internet technology and the arrival of the information age, theinformation technology for the higher education is facing new opportunities andchallenges. The university’s information technology has become a key strategy for thefuture development of school education. The current university information system hasbeen unable to satisfy the need of teachers and students for working or studying.Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education has put more attention to the development of theinformation technology in the campus and proposed the higher requirements for theinformation infrastructure. Universities have put building the high standard andhigh-quality university information platform on the agenda.The platform mentioned in this thesis is designed to be customized and to have mobilityattributes for the universities. The platform development toolkits are MyEclipse,MySQL database and Java language; while the Android application developmenttoolkits are Eclipse and Java language. The general design of the platform is mainlyaround the overall management of school teaching and applications for teachers andstudents, and also meets the communication between teachers and teachers, betweenteachers and students, between students and students, and between schools and parents.The platform building is majorly based on the campus information system building andsatisfies the absolute needs of the universities. The key values of platform focus oncontents, applications, sharing, deliveries, communications, interactions, spreading andrecommendations.This thesis consists of three parts, university management platform, campus applicationplatform and mobile client applications. Accessing the platform uses unified usermanagement, unified authentication, unified user name logon, and access controlmanagement. Students and teachers can logon the platform via phone number/StudentID/login name in order to provide simplified logon method and convenient universitymanagement.1. The university management platform mainly achieves the university organizationstructure management, student management, student modification management, information notification, campus contacts and other major functions. Satisfying theuniversity for teachers and students management content; providing services platformfor the college teachers and students to improve the learning environment and quality oflife; providing the media and services for the construction of campus culture and ethos.2. The campus application platform mainly includes the applications of theteacher-student interaction, and campus cultural transmission. It is an Internet exchangeplatform with the campus property, and focus on anytime and anywhere, instantmessaging, forming campus interoperability and spreading campus cultural transmissioncover. The campus interaction includes campus circle, my friends, popular teachers,famous seniors, dynamic focus for your friends, online chat and other interactivefeatures for campus, in order to establish a real-time interactive platform which canenhances interaction between students and teachers.3. The mobile client application is implemented to check notifications, to do jobs,tocommunicate with friends, and to manage your schedule anytime and anywhere byusing the smart phone terminal equipment.
