Research On Packet Transport Network Technology And Its Applications

As far as we all known, with the development of full service network based on IP, IP based transport network is the general direction. PTN technology has gotten rapid development since it was proposed, and has become one of the mainstream technology of IP-based Local, Metro Transmission Network evolution. PTN has huge potential in market, which is the best technology to realize TD-LTE broadband feedback. For3G and4G mobile communication construction, the features of PTN and applications in network planning need to research and discuss immediately. This paper studies the PTN technology and application in the network.Firstly, the paper introduces the rise of packet transport technology and the principle of PTN, which include the key bearing technology and protection of PTN. Secondly, the standardization development, application status and outlook of PTN technology have been introduced. Finally, PTN bearing evolution for LTE and other aspects related have been discussed and analyzed. This paper focuses on the analysis of the steps and principles of PTN network planning and design, which has reference values for engineering and design staff.
