The weekly "Yusi" is issued by Zhou zuo ren, Luxun, Qian xuan tong, Sunfuyuan, andthe other eleven people in Novermber1924.It is one of the periodicals with strongestinfluence in the middle and later period of the twenties of the20thcentury.It was published260issues in about five years, which participated constructing another brilliant era of thoughtand literature following "New Youth".In the literature,"Yusi" debated" National Literature" with Zheng bo qi, Mu mu tian,Wang du qing, that criticized restoring ancient ways in "national literature".And "Yusi"points out that people can save Chinese cisis only changing Chinese culture. When arguedwith the creation of controversy about "Revolution literatue", the weekly "Yusi" presents twokinds of opinions: Lu xun is in favor of" Revolutionary Literature", but he think "thecreation" of "so—called Revolutionary Literature" is still not mature. In contrast,"non–yusianthor" were completely against "Revolutionary Literatur", Indicating that they continue toadhere to the new cultural movement to create "five four literature. On the thought,"Yusi" argued "Female students wave" and "The three one eightmassacre" with "modern comment". The "Yusi faction" supports the students of femalenormal, and condemn the cruelty of beiyang government. At the same time, the "Yusi" factiondebated "rearranging the national heritage" with Hushi, which pointed out the disadvantagesof "rearranging the national heritage", and adhere to the original intention of "The new culturemovement"—transforming the nature of the national. The debate that the "Yusi" faction andThe"Jiayin" faction dominated by Zhang shi zhao,is a powerful response to the restorationtrend, and is also the proof of the "Yusi" faction to inherit the enlightenment mission of "Thefive four new culture movement".
