Simulation of natural scenes is a hotspot for the research of computer graphics. The comprehensiveness of natural scenes and their inner similarity are common characteristics, which are represented by a key mathematical tool, the fracture geometry. There are many ways for the fracture approaches for choices under distinct circumstances.Falling snow is a natural phenomenon which is a challenge for description due to factors of gravity, air resistance, and the influence of wind caused by air flow. Depicting its trajectory with a straight line could not convey to the audience a authentic experience. In order to render the simulation more real, all those factors have been taken into account. The randomness of snowflake rotation is used to simulate winds with complicatedness, which is quite efficient for implementation. Meanwhile a audio module is added to the system making the visual effect even authentic. With consideration to the variation of snow flakes, this paper uses multiple types of snow for simulation, making the virtual scene even more dynamic. In addition to that, we take into account the influence of temperature to particle density and strike a balance of the real time and the authenticity with evenly produced particles in accordance with the temperature conditions.Snowflakes disappear with time and we need to generate new ones for compensation. Thus, we need to record whether a snowflake is in its life circle or is already dead. In tackling this problem, we simply use a program to remove the snowflakes out of its life circle and generate new ones, which is efficient in preserving time and space resources.
