Along with the rapid development of national economy at the sametime, the total number of vehicles will be more and more, of course, it would sendoriginal ten crowded Chinese city bring a bigger challenge, the emergence of the vehiclepositioning management system system can reasonably use the existing road traffic,give full play to the potential of road traffic, improve the road.In this paper, based on the GPS vehicle monitoring system is designed. Using GPSto record vehicle for effective control, improve the operation efficiency of road.Based on the structure of the GPS vehicle monitoring system using WebGISsystem, USES the GPS global positioning technology, combined with mobile phonepositioning and Oracle database, and combining with GPS, the establishment of spacedatabase to realize vehicle tracking and monitoring, and other various functions such asalarm, rapid aid. As for the development of software and hardware at the same time, alot of work, is not a short term can realize and finish. Therefore, this article mainlyresearch work in the following aspects: the vehicle monitoring system based on GPSstrategy research, based on the study on the method of GPS vehicle monitoring system,based on C/S based on GPS vehicle monitoring system research, the research ofdatabase security, assisted GPS terminal hardware design.Use of the existing condition, has carried on the design and implementation ofvehicle monitoring system, with the space information technology, mobilecommunication technology, database technology, the rapid development of computertechnology, network technology, for the establishment of the modern vehiclemanagement monitoring scheduling system created the advantageous conditions.
