With the rapid development of power supply business and people’s demand forservices diversification, customer experience and self-service demand become more andmore urgent. In order to maintain and enhance the competitiveness,power supplyenterprises must provide more convenient service channels for customer, enhancingcustomer satisfaction。The deployment of self-service system can improve and perfectthe front desk service, reduce operating pressure of the front desk,meet customerdemand for convenient handling business, promote the marketing capabilities of powersupply enterprises.Base on a place of The Guangdong Power Grid Corporation, this paper put forwardthe self-service system for power marketing business research and development topics.The system build the payment, prepaid self-recharge, multimedia publicity inquiries andself printing functions into one self-service terminal. Thesis completed the followingaspects of work:1、J2EE, MVC design pattern, Web services, Socket communication programmingand MD5encryption algorithms and other related technologies for self-service havebeen studied;2、Through full investigation of the enterprise business needs and processes,defined the positioning of self-service systems and the overall goal,completed thebusiness requirements analysis including prepaid electricity, pay electricity bills, bankreconciliation etc。3、Based on J2EE framework and MVC design pattern,completed the overallsystem architecture, technology architecture and functional, interface design; eventuallyconstructed a set of power marketing business self-service system base on J2EE and B/S(Browser/Server) architecture.The system is stable, can effectively reduce operating costs and improve thecorporate image,promote the integration of people living with power services。Thesystem supports prepaid electricity by IC card, among the leading level in the industry.The system provide a new service model beyond the traditional forms of businesswindow and agent point. The self-service terminal and deployed in the power supplybusiness hall,shopping mall, community etc, some qualified enterprises can build 24-hour business hall to reduce business pressure and provide extended services,achieve customer can pay electricity bills without queuing.Through this research,Implemented to expand the user’s payment channels,improve the recovery rate of electricity bill, improve the corporate image and reputation,better achieve the China Southern Power Grid’s "excellent service" commitment. Finally,this paper discussed the follow-up research directions of self-service system,and pavethe way for future development of power supply enterprise’s self-service system.
