Design And Application Of Daily Transaction Banking System Based On AS400

Nowadays,With the development of society, people’s life quality improved,Internettechnology developing rapidly. The bank’s usage and the flow of the currency isbecoming bigger and bigger, and more attention is payed to the safety. So, the request tothe banking system becomes higher, banks have started to develop its own bankingsystem, software development plays a vital role in the banking system. In order todevelop the banking and financial industry to meet the high demands of softwaresystems，this design is based on IBM AS/400as a daily banking transaction system. Theuser of the system is bank counter staff, bank counter staff can login the back-end bankdaily operating system from front-end login screen to input and query the information ofclients, and to operate the daily transaction.In this thesis, the daily operation flow of the core banking system is brieflyintroduced, and according to the design of a complete software life cycle, system designand implementation are introduced and analyse in detail. The functions of this systeminclude user information query and modify, open, close, change account, deposit andtransaction query, the system has strong security performance and powerful dataprocessing ability. This thesis also introduces back-end of bank’s work processes, theIBM AS/400background, significance, and the advantages and disadvantages of usingRPG programming language.This design can achieve the most basic version of a small daily bank core businesssystem, base on this system, it can expend to a efficient core banking system offinancial industry.
